Happy New Year!
This is my first "official" blog ever. Im not even sure what to say.

My New Years Eve was uneventful. Nathan worked, and I was sick. I mainly just laid around and watched the Law and Order CI marathon. Im addicted to Law and Order! I need a support group.

Also, one of my cats has been really sick. I came home from work yesterday, she was bleeding really bad, and was very weak. I had to rush her to the vet. She has a urinary tract infection....it cost $99 for her medicine. I cant believe I spent that much on a cat.

Im starting to get the hang of it..Im not sure if Im replying to you, or just making a new comment.

The cat is doing MUCH better. Its crazy how much we spend on them, but they are kind of like our kids, you know? I felt SO bad when I knew she was sick.

I will add you to my links as soon as I figure out how to do that *lol*

yeah, this responding thing is the most frustrating part. people who check your blog often (like me) will know to check back at the comments to see your reply. but your friends who don't understand blogging yet will have to be told how it works. if i didn't live with a computer geek i wouldn't know how to do it either:)

Oh my gosh, Im so excited. I came on here and saw that I had SIX comments.

To Rob: I started getting interested in quantum physics last year, after I saw a movie called "WHAT THE BLEEP DO WE KNOW?!" (yes, that is its actual title)..it had a stupid storyline, but in between scenes, they talked to scientists about various theories. It is basically part documentary, part story. It really got me curious about how certain things work. Then I read a book called "A Short History Of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson, which is a great book. Its like a history book, only its about how the universe expands, etc. The author has a great personality so it isnt boring. Anyway, Im rambling. It all makes my head want to explode, but thats why I like it.

To Marie: It took me almost an hour to figure out how to add your blog as a link. I had a small celebration when I finally figured it out :) Also, you and Rob must be on the same wavelength!

Apparently Bill Bryson has about a billion books out. Id like to read some of his other stuff...he has a really good style of writing.
